Well, it's been over a week- and it's not so much that we can't find any band that will let us film- it's simply the practicality of it, seeing as they are only free for filming, when we are not lol. On the bright side- if this doesn't work for us, at least we can do the short film instead (Y)
In the meantime, we have a few final plans for trying to get a band
Me: I will speak to the high school music department, and see if there are any bands they could recommend to us- if not, i do have a friend who has a gig coming up, and could have a chat with him. But i cannot imagine he'll be incredibly brilliant for time management =S
Tom Cowles: Our media teacher recommended a band, which includes a student she used to teach, so Tom will facebook him and see what happens there
Tom Coe: We have a pub nearby which is also one of the main music venues for Norwich, so Tom will leave a post on their website to see if anybody is interested

I think you need to get out to the brickmakers, UEA, waterfront, Queen Charlotte etc. and put posters up advertising yourselves. Make sure you put on your advertising that it needs to be an original song. Any band worth their salt would bit off your hand if you offer a free music video! ~joe
